Fall has officially arrived!

I love everything about fall; the smells, the tastes, the sounds, the feels, the colors!

I live in New England and there is no better place to experience fall in my humble opinion.

It starts off with everything pumpkin seen everywhere! The hikes in the woods, pulling on a cozy sweater, cider donuts, apple picking, pumpkin carving, hot mulled apple cider, Halloween, our anniversary, and a couple of our kid’s birthdays, just to name a few of my personal favorites. For me, October is my favorite fall month, I mean, Halloween…where you get free candy! C’mon, what’s not to love?

With all the hustle and bustle into Q4, a lot of us entrepreneurs are pushing to finish out the year with a profit and already planning for 2023, yet I feel pulled to gently nudge everyone to practice some self-care and raise your vibration and stay in the higher frequency. Don’t let this fall season pass you by so quickly because you are so “busy” doing and not slowing down to relish and cherish being in the present moment.

Here are 5 things to do while the air turns crisp and the leaves put on a breathtaking show:

  • Take a walk outside and crunch leaves under your feet, be truly present to the leaves
  • Go pick out pumpkins to carve with friends and/or family, toast up the delicious seeds to snack on
  • Wander through a corn maze
  • Venture to an apple orchard for apple picking and grab apple cider to make Spice Mulled hot apple cider
  • Host a movie night to your favorite Halloween movie (mine is Hocus Pocus)
  • If you’re in Connecticut, here are some great fall activities in the area.

These activities will put you in the spirit of the season. My goal for suggesting this is that you will fill yourself up with self-love and joy from time spent with others and truly feel the power of living life all in.

For me, I don’t like the cold weather that is coming, known as winter, but by being present in the Fall season, raises my vibration and makes the time fly by. When I look back, I have great memories and experiences that I really enjoy reflecting on.
